Die-Hards: Landing Peters Twp Donovan McMillon Will Be No Easy Task For Pitt

Published

on

Peters Township junior safety Donovan McMillon’s name started to surface in the recruiting world back in November when Pitt became his first Power Five offer.

Since that time, McMillon has been taking in offer after offer and from some major Power Five programs. The latest being yesterday when the talented safety got the news from James Franklin and Penn State.

A week ago, McMillon received a call from Notre Dame that he’d earned a scholarship from the Fighting Irish. Now his Power Five offer list includes Pitt, Penn State, Notre Dame, Purdue, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, Michigan, Louisville, Virginia Tech, Northwestern and Virginia.

Back on November 15, when McMillon got the initial offer from Pat Narduzzi, things looked good for Pitt to keep this rising WPIAL talent home, however, now that he’s a national recruit things won’t be that easy.

Pitt is no doubt still a top contender but Pat Narduzzi and his staff will have to fight off some of the top programs in the country.

Can they do it?
