Sophomore Vincent Davis got the start at running back in Pitt’s Week 2 ACC opener against Syracuse on Saturday after senior A.J. Davis started the season opener against Austin Peay a week previous.

Vincent Davis also dominated the touches once again, with 29 carries against the Orange compared to 16 for A.J. Davis and 17 for Pitt’s other three scholarship backs.

But was he more successful?
