With no on-campus visits permitted, college football programs are spending more time than even communicating with recruiting targets over the phone and through Zoom interviews.
It remains to be how the extended dead period on visits will have on recruiting and how many players will decide to make a commitment without seeing a campus in-person and take advantage of the scholarship extended to them or if more players will hold off on making a decision and hope that visits will open up in the near future.
Over the weekend, Pittsburgh Sports Now reached out to a number of players in the Class of 2022 that Pitt have been recruiting to see where things stand, the type of communication they’re having with Pitt and when do they plan on making their college decision.
