The state of Georgia continues to be a hotbed of offers for the Pitt Panthers with the latest coming Wednesday evening to a speedy wide receiver.
Three-star recruit Isaiah Bond from Buford High School in Buford, Georgia received the news from Pitt. Bond becomes the third player in the last week from Buford to receive an offer from Pitt, joining three-star running back Victor Venn and three-star safety Malik Spencer. Back in January, Pitt also offered Buford High School three-star defensive back Ryland Gandy.
Bond (6-foot-0, 175 pounds) is someone that’s getting recruited by schools as both a wide receiver and at cornerback but tells PSN that Pitt wants him as a wide receiver.
Pitt joins Duke, Bowling Green, Air Force, Dartmouth, Florida Atlantic, Liberty, UMass, Miami (Fla.), Nebraska, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Washington State and Wisconsin as programs that have offered Bond.
Pittsburgh Sports Now caught up with Bond Tuesday evening following his phone call with Pitt.
