Die-Hards: Pitt Continues to Offer WR’s; Latest Being 3-Star Marcus Peterson

on

The Pitt Panthers have been on a recent run in their recruiting of extending offers to junior wide receivers, many of which are highly rated and sought after.

Another common thread with these offers is that these players have an existing relationship with Pitt wide receivers coach Brennan Marion, dating back to when he was with Hawaii.

This started on Monday when Pitt offered California 4-star recruit CJ Williams, who’s rated by Rivals as the No. 2 junior wide receiver in the country. The next offer went to ESPN 4-star wide receiver Jay Fair from Rockwall, Texas. Fair holds 20+ offers including from schools like Auburn, Baylor, TCU, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and USC. 3-star Isiah Bond from Buford, Georgia became the next wideout to get offered by Pitt. The speedster also has Power 5 offers from Wisconsin, Wake Forest, Washington State, Syracuse, Nebraska, Duke and Miami (FL).

The most recent wide receiver offer to hear from Marion and Pitt was a big, talented player from Florida and Pittsburgh Sports Now spoke to Marcus Peterson Wednesday night.
