On Thursday, rising junior Jahnathan Lamothe confirmed to Pittsburgh Sports Now that he has scheduled an unofficial visit to Pitt for June 17.
Lamothe, a 6-foot-4, 180-pound combo guard, is ranked as the No. 36 prospect in the nation by 247 Sports. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, he plays his high school ball for St. Frances Academy. As for AAU ball, he plays alongside Pitt targets Amani Hansberry, Rodney Gallagher, Shawn Simmons, and Kwame Evans Jr. on the loaded Team Durant 16u squad.
Lamothe already holds 14 division one offers, including Pitt, Virginia Tech, TCU, Creighton, Georgetown, Seton Hall, and more. According to Jake Weingarten, Lamothe also has visits to Rutgers, Georgetown, and VCU planned, in addition to the trip to Pitt.
