Die-Hards: Pitt Football Players to Watch in 2021

Published

on

For any team to make noticeable improvements, the marquee players can’t be the only ones expected to produce. A handful of individual players need to develop and not only be counted on to take on a larger roll, but succeed in doing so.

Since the end of the 2020 season, the Pitt coaches and training staff have been working and that concluded with the spring practices and the Blue/Gold Spring Game.

Pitt knows what they’re getting from certain players like Kenny Pickett, Jordan Addison, Cam Bright and Phil Campbell. The question is which young players or players with limited playing time might be ready to take that next step and move into the spotlight for the 2021 Pitt Panthers?

Pittsburgh Sports Now surveyed a number of members of the Pitt program to get an inside feel for who’s been standing out to players and coaches. The media isn’t permitted into the workouts, practices and training sessions, so to get a real feel for who’s impressing, you need to go to the “insiders”.
