Published

on

All 105 is a Pittsburgh Sports Now series profiling each of the 105 members of Pitt’s 2021 training camp roster.

90 • DeAndre Jules, redshirt sophmore defensive tackle

Last year: Appeared in six games after being redshirted as a freshman.

Stats: Tallied six tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and half a sack in those six games. Three tackles, all 1.5 tackles for loss, and the half sack came against Miami.

Camp outlook: Defensive tackle is one of Pitt’s deepest positions, with Calijah Kancey, Devin Danielson, Keyshon Camp, and David Green. However, Jules made good work out of his playing time last year.

Projected role: Jules will surely serve as a reserve defensive tackle once again.

Accolades, Highlights: According to Rivals and 247Sports, Jules was the best defensive end prospect in Maryland coming out of high school.
