Another member of the Pitt football team makes a college football watch list.
Punter Kirk Christodoulou was named on Wednesday to the Ray Guy Award Watch List, given to the best punter in college football.
This is no surprise given the performance Christodoulou had last season for the Panthers, where he was a Ray Guy Award semifinalist and named to the Pro Football Focus All-American Second Team. In 11 games, the native of Australia averaged a career-high 44.7 yards and had a 41.9 net punting average, which was 11th in the FBS.
Christodoulou was exceptional placing the ball inside the 20-yard line, as 23 of his 53 did so and 30 of his punts resulted in a fair catch.
He becomes the 6th Pitt player to be named to a preseason college football watch list- Jordan Addison (Biletnikoff Award), Deslin Alexandre (Lott IMPACT Trophy), Calijah Kancey (Bednarik Award and Nagurski Trophy), Lucas Krull (Mackey Award) and Kenny Pickett (Maxwell Award).||
