Last Year: King stands 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds, and joined the Panthers as a preferred walk-on during training camp.
Stats: King didn’t play a game in 2020.
Camp outlook: King will need a strong summer showing to carve out a niche in the Panthers defensive line rotation.
Projected role: Early games against UMass and New Hampshire could give King a chance at playing time. Beyond that, he’ll likely spend another season in a reserve role.
Accolades, highlights: King recorded 91 tackles, including 20 for a loss as a senior in high school, his lone season playing organized football.
