It’s been an extremely busy week for the Pitt coaching staff as they’ve spent the entire week out on the road visiting numerous high schools up and down the East Coast. The coaching staff will be back in Pittsburgh this weekend for another Junior Day weekend as they will now host recruits on campus.

*2025 offensive lineman Landon Rapkiewicz (6’4″, 300-pounds) from Palm Beachs Gardens, Florida. This is the first D-I offer for Rapkiewicz.
*2026 tight end/defensive end Corbyn Fordham from Jacksonville, Florida. Fordham (6-foot-4, 205 pounds) holds other offers from Tulsa. This was Fordham’s first Power Five offer.

*2024 offensive tackle Matty Augustine from Greenwich, Connecticut. The 6-foot-7, 260-pound lineman holds other offers from Vanderbilt, Penn and UMass.
*2024 athlete Elijah Newby (6-foot-4, 195-pounds) from Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, Connecticut picked up an offer from Pitt. Newby also holds offers from Duke, Stanford, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and West Virginia.
*2024 offensive lineman Jadon Lafontant from Brunswick High School in Stratford, Connecticut (6-foot-4, 290 pounds). Lafontant received the offer from Frank Cignetti, Jr. and it’s his first Power Five offer.
*2025 safety Ethan Long from Trumbull, Connecticut (6-foot-2, 185 pounds). Long received the news from Frank Cignetti, Jr. and this becomes the first Power Five offer for Long.
