Inside the Locker Room: Emotional Pitt Players Break Down Loss to Duke, Tournament Chances

GREENSBORO, N.C. — On Thursday afternoon, Pitt fell to Duke in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament in lopsided fashion, 96-69.

All eyes now fall upon the NCAA Tournament selection committee, who will choose the field of 68 teams that make the NCAA Tournament on Selection Sunday in just a few days.

Hear from Pitt players Jamarius Burton, Nelly Cummings, Nike Sibande, Greg Elliott, and Jorge Diaz-Graham after the loss. The players broke down Pitt’s loss to Duke and spoke about why they believe this team deserves a bid to the tournament.
