The Pitt football programs diligence in recruiting the state of Florida proved beneficial in the form of another talented player.

2024 3-star linebacker Jeremiah Marcelin from Norland High School in Opa Locka, Florida announced his commitment this afternoon to Pitt and becomes commitment No. 20 in their Class of 2024.

The Florida to Pitt pipeline continues as Marcelin is the fifth player from Florida to commit to Pitt this year joining 3-star defensive back Chasen Johnson (Sanford, Florida), 3-star defensive back Allen Bryant (Fort Lauderdale, Florida), 3-star defensive end Zachary Crothers (Hollywood, Florida) and 4-star wide receiver Ric’Darious Farmer (Melbourne, Florida).

This isn’t just a one-year deal in terms of Pitt’s success in recruiting the Sunshine State. Since taking over as head coach, Pat Narduzzi has now gotten 40 commitments from players in Florida and is averaging 4 Florida commitments per recruiting class.

Considering this high volume of players, PSN went back through all of the Pitt/Florida commitments and came up with a list of our Top 10 Pitt signings from Florida.
