Former Harvard Standout Chris Ledlum Re-Enters Transfer Portal

Published

Months after committing to Tennessee, former Harvard G/F Chris Ledlum re-entered the transfer portal on Thursday.

Ledlum is a 6-foot-6 prospect who earned First Team All Ivy League honors this season after scoring 18.8 points per game and grabbing 8.5 rebounds per game. He played three seasons at Harvard and has two seasons of eligibility left.

Pitt had interest in Ledlum out of high school and reached out the first time he entered the portal this off-season.

I don’t see Ledlum ending up at Pitt this time around. For one, the Panthers are looking for a veteran guard if anything. Additionally, they have Blake Hinson and Federiko Federiko already in the front court.

While Ledlum could slot in alongside those two — essentially taking Zack Austin’s spot — there are many other programs out there currently looking for a 3/4 that can give him more time on the court, and importantly, more time with the ball.

Saint John’s has been linked to him already with starting minutes available at the four and enough NIL money to make room for him as a walk-on. West Virginia has room for him as well. Iowa, Indiana, and Michigan also made his top five — alongside Saint John’s and Tennessee  — earlier this spring.

The last eight transfers that have heard from Pitt have all been guards. I’d imagine Pitt is looking more into guards like Jeremiah Williams, Terrion Murdix, and others in the portal.
