Twitter Reaction: Pitt Battles But Falls Short Against Florida State

No one expected this game to be close, including the oddsmakers who had Florida State as -21.5 point favorites this afternoon against Pitt.

To Pitt’s credit, they competed especially in the first first as they were arguably the better team.

In the end, Pitt’s offense couldn’t generate consist offense or score points and the No. 4 team in the country’s talent prevailed.

Christian Veilleux has arm talent. This offensive scheme is in no way conducive to a player like him being successful. It is a “pro style” offense from 10 years ago. Change has to be made

The 14 combined points Pitt has scored in the past two games is the least since they scored since a combined 13 in 2018.

Those two games were a 24-3 loss to Miami in the regular season finale and a 42-10 loss to No. 3 Clemson in the ACC Championship Game.
