A couple years ago, Keith Dambrot was able to bring in a couple of transfer guards, Dae Dae Grant and Tre Clark, who ultimately helped lead Duquesne to the NCAA Tournament.
With those players now gone due to graduation, new head coach Dru Joyce is in the process of trying to replace those valuable members of the Dukes program.

This weekend, Duquesne is hosting a player that would be a huge addition and a great start to rebuilding their backcourt.
Pittsburgh Sports Now has learned that Canisius transfer point guard Tre Dinkins is in Pittsburgh for an official visit at Duquesne.
This 6-2, 190-pound guard is receiving a high amount of interest: Miami, Seton Hall, Oklahoma, Indiana, Richmond, George Washington, George Mason, Delaware, Southern Miss, LaSalle, Florida Gulf Coast, Austin Peay, Murray State, Illinois State, Stony Brook, Robert Morris, Santa Clark, Milwaukee, Youngstown State, High Point, Arkansas State and East Carolina.
The high interest isn’t surprising considering his production while at Canisius. In 32 games last season, Dinkins averaged 15.4 points, 3.6 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game, while shooting 41% from the field and 36.5% from 3-point range. Dinkins led Canisus in points, assists and 3-point shooting.
The native of Chester, Pennsylvania will have one season of eligibility remaining.
He would be a great pick up. Saw him play against Pitt in person last year. He is a good player. I am not surprised with all the teams interested. He could play at the Power 5 level.
