Tuesday’s Best Draftkings Bets: Brewers-Pirates, Lightning-Panthers, Mavericks-Clippers
We had a better day than Sunday with the Winning Picks on Monday but still finished 1-2. The under was able to hit in Brewers/Pirates as Jared Jones dazzled, helping the Bucs to win their first game in a week. Jones is a serious candidate for NL Rookie of the Year. Dallas could not outshine Vegas as they fell in Game 1 of their series. And despite overcoming a 20-point deficit, the Nuggets could not cover against the Lakers. We moved to 258-204-3 on the year.
Last night is why the playoffs can be so much fun. There were multiple crazy comebacks in both the NHL and NBA including the Hurricanes erasing a 3-0 deficit to beat the Islanders. With the NBA, no road has yet to win a game in these playoffs while the Golden Knights and Maple Leafs won the first games on the road in the NHL.
Tonight, I believe you will have two more wins on the road as Colorado and Nashville will both win on the road to tie their series at 1-1. As for Capitals/Rangers, I like the over to cover in that game. As for the NBA, give me the home teams in the Timberwolves and Bucks as they will both extend their series leads to 2-0.

It is hard to give a prediction for a game when you don’t know who’s pitching at the time of writing it. Wade Miley was supposed to start for the Brewers tonight, but he now joins multiple other starters on their disabled list. Bailey Falter will look to piggyback off the success Jared Jones had last night. Jones at +700 to win NL Rookie of the Year is a great bet to make.
For this game, given the circumstances, I like the under. The mystery surrounding who will pitch for the Brewers doesn’t help a Bucs team that has still failed to score more than 4 runs since last Sunday. Lay the under and hope for the best.

The Battle of the Sunshine State heats up again on the ice as the Florida Panthers look to take a commanding 2-0 series lead over the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Panthers are hungry to get back to the Stanley Cup Finals after losing to Vegas last year. For the Lightning, they are simply trying to squeeze what little that they have left from their old cup runs.
Both of these teams played a surprisingly low scoring game on Sunday afternoon. I don’t think that will happen tonight. I expect Tampa to take more chances in order to get back in this series, but Florida will make them pay. That is why I like the over in South Beach tonight.

Kawhi Leonard is set to return to the lineup for the Clippers tonight as they look to take a 2-0 lead against the Dallas Mavericks. This will be the first time in a long time that all the pieces are together for the Clips. While LA has had some of the best rosters in the NBA over the past 5 years, they just can’t stay healthy especially in the playoffs. But now the Klaw is back, and it could be a big problem for the rest of the NBA.
The Mavericks were supposed to be potentially the dark horse in this whole NBA playoffs. But truthfully, they don’t really have anything outside of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. I believe the Big 4 of Leonard, James Harden, Paul George and Russell Westbrook will be too much for the Mavs and the Clippers will go up 2-0 in the series.
