Pitt Travel Roster: Who Made the Trip to Louisville?

Published

Pitt quarterback Eli Holstein.

LOUISVILLE — Pitt brought a large contingent down to Louisville for the penultimate game of the 2024 season, and it’s largely the group that was expected.

It’s a largely healthy Pitt squad that made the trip, barring a couple of previously known season-ending injuries. The offense and defense are about as healthy as can be expected, knock on wood, at the Week 12 mark in the season.

Both Eli Holstein and Nate Yarnell made the trip to Louisville, with Holstein back in the starting lineup.

Jesse Anderson, Jahsear Whittington, Cameron Monteiro, Cam Lindsey, Juelz Goff, Allen Bryant, Jeremiah Marcelin, Malachi Thomas, Sincere Edwards and Francis Brewu headline a relatively light group of true freshmen that made the trip.

Rodney Hammond Jr. and Tyreek Robinson, who are both at the four game mark this season, didn’t make the trip. And that spells out how their seasons will likely end.

Pitt and Louisville are scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m. on ESPN2. It’s the second to last game of the regular season, but the Panthers still have quite a bit to fight for.
