Tracking Pitt Transfers’ Recent Performances

Over the past few years, Pitt has had several players enter the transfer portal in basketball.

Let’s check in on those former Panthers who are now playing elsewhere this season.

Federiko Federiko – Texas Tech

In Federiko’s last game, a loss to Texas A&M, he played 26 minutes and went 3 for 3 from the field. He finished with seven points, six rebounds, and four steals. He is averaging five points and four rebounds per game this year.

Nate Santos – Dayton

In a weekend win over Lehigh, Santos shot the lights out for Dayton, going 6 for 6 from three-point range and scoring 24 points. He grabbed four rebounds as well. Santos is averaging 14 points and five rebounds per game this year.

Dior Johnson – UCF

In a win over Tarleton State, Johnson played eight minutes for the Knights. He went 1 for 3 from the field, scoring two points and grabbing two steals.

John Hugley – Xavier

In a loss to TCU, Hugley played 13 minutes, scoring three points and grabbing one rebound. He is averaging three points and three rebounds per game.

Gerald Drumgoole – George Washington

In a win over Old Dominion, Drumgoole played 31 minutes and hit four of his eight shot attempts. He scored 16 points in the victory, and is averaging nearly 12 points per contest.

William Jeffress – Louisiana Tech

The Pitt graduate is out for the season due to an injury.

Former Panther Will Jeffress Out for Season After Knee Surgery

Jeffress had started three games for the Bulldogs so far this year prior to his injury, and was averaging 9.3 points and 7 rebounds per game for the team.
