PITTSBURGH — After Pitt’s close loss to Georgia Tech last Wednesday, senior Pitt guard Jared Wilson-Frame said he was ready to play another game, despite the Panthers having a week off before hosting Clemson.
After a few days off and some reflection, that thought was misguided. Wilson-Frame, and maybe more importantly, his younger teammates, desperately needed some time off from the ACC grind to rest, re-charge and reflect on how to right the ship after a 10-game losing streak.
