Sunday Night Pitt Recruiting News

What a night at The Pete for both the Pitt basketball and football teams.

The basketball team recorded an impressive 90-71 win over Virginia Tech. The win moves Pitt’s record to 17-4.

More impressive than the game was the showing of the Oakland Zoo in front of the numerous recruits at the game.  Thumbs up to the Zoo, you guys rarely fail to impress.

I can’t be 100% certain about this but I’d bet a ton of money that The Zoo left a fantastic impression with a bunch of those recruits.  In attendance tonight were Damar Hamlin, Khaleke Hudson, Paris Ford, C.J. Thorpe,  Aaron Mathews.  The Oakland Zoo is a unbelievable recruiting tool for the football team.

Less than 24 hours after things looking looked bad for Pitt, things are looking up again.  That’s how quick things can flip in the game of recruiting.

As far my tweet tonight after be on alert, I’m fully expecting some “Pat Signals” in the next 24-48 hours.  As I wrote earlier,  I expect Hamlin to commit to Pitt.  I don’t have any inside information on that, I’m just telling you that’s how I see things going tomorrow.

**I also expect one possibly two recruits to flip to Pitt. I’m not going to mention names, you figure it out.
