Kevin Stallings collected his second backcourt commitment of the week Friday, when he secured the services of junior college shooting guard Jared Wilson-Frame Friday afternoon.

[Our Harry Psaros recently talked to Wilson-Frame’s coach at Northwest Florida State College, Steve DeMeo. You can read that interview here.]

Wilson-Frame is a 6-foot-5 guard that can also play the wing. He’s currently enrolled at Northwest Florida State College, where he averaged 15.4 points per game in 2015-16. He shot 40.5 percent from the field and 37.3 percent from 3-point range for NWFSC.

Originally a Hartford, Connecticut, native, Wilson-Frame was one of the most highly decorated high school players in the state.

He will have two seasons of eligibility with the Panthers when he enrolls in 2017. Wilson-Frame is the third backcourt member of Pitt’s Class of 2017, joining Aaron Thompson and recently committed Marcus Carr.

Pitt is only scheduled to graduate one guard from this year’s team — senior Chris Jones.
