UPDATE (9:40 PM)-

**Pitt finally pulls the trigger and offers 2017 cornerback and Boston College commitment Jason Pinnock. This a player that Josh Conklin has recruited heavy over the last couple of weeks and tonight Coach Narduzzi offered the scholarship. Pinnock will be making an official visit to Pitt January 13-15.

**Although Pitt is a heavy underdog, nobody has quit trying to recruit Clairton’s Lamont Wade.

UPDATE (8:19 PM)-

**Monday is a day that Pitt COULD receive another commitment Today I talked with a player that Pitt is heavily recruiting and he told me that he’s going to make his decision on Monday. The only thing I know is that Pitt is a finalist. This recruit didn’t tell me who he’s selecting just that Pitt is under serious consideration. Stay tuned.

UPDATE (12:57 PM)-

**Talked with Pitt 2017 commit Dontavius Butler and asked him about his commitment to Pitt and the conversation he had last night with Coach Narduzzi.

“It happens to the best in the profession (losing assistants). It’s just something I should expect because when your good at what what you do they’ll come for you,” said Butler.

“Me committing to Pitt didn’t have anything to do with committing to Coach Canada, it was me committing to the program. Coach Duzz & Coach Sherman didn’t tell me anything I didn’t expect them to say. I believe Coach Duzz will find someone if not better [than Canada] to continue their run for an ACC Championship.”

UPDATE (10:58 AM)-

**Just heard from 2017 commitment Dontavius Butler who told me that everything is good with him and Pitt despite losing Matt Canada. Butler communicated with Coach Narduzzi and Butler is ready to become a Pitt Panther.

UPDATE (10:24 AM)-

**It’s becoming obvious that although they’re listed as a finalist for Clairton’s Lamont Wade, Pitt isn’t going to land him. Despite reasons that people tried to make for Pitt, Wade has been a heavy lean towards Penn State for awhile and are the heavy favorites to land him on Saturday. Penn State assistant Terry Smith is a big reason and has done a good job recruiting him.
