Will we see a “Pat Signal” marking their eighth verbal commitment this weekend?

The past few days we’ve been working the phones attempting to confirm camp visitors. Here’s what we’ve come up with to this point.

Confirmed Visitors

Kameron Blount, 2019 linebacker from Maryland that received his first offer from Pitt back on May 11. Blount will be in town on Saturday.

Tyler King, 2019 linebacker from Pine-Richland. Will become a major recruit and wouldn’t be surprised if he receives an offer.

Tyler Bird, 2018 linebacker from Dallas, Georgia. Bird is a 6-1, 220 pound linebacker with 20+ offers including ones from Air Force, Colorado State, East Carolina, Navy, Tulane and a bunch of the Ivy League schools. Bird was actually born in Pittsburgh but moved to Georgia when he was young.

Bird will be in town this Saturday.

David Green, 2018 defensive tackle from Central Catholic. Green holds an offer from Pitt and tells PSN that right now he’s focusing on Pitt, Virginia Tech, Minnesota, Rutgers, Iowa State, Syracuse, Temple and Buffalo.

“My recruitment is starting to narrow down. I’m still debating on a decision date,” said Geeen.

The talented defensive tackle says he might want to make a decision right before the start of the season. Green will participate in Sunday’s camp.

Brayden Thomas, 2018 linebacker from Fox Chapel. Thomas will take part in Saturday’s camp.

Noah Palmer, 2018 defensive end from Thomas Jefferson and current Pitt commit. Palmer will be on the South Side this Sunday.

Judson Tallandier, 2018 cornerback from Maryland and current Pitt commit. Tallandier will be in town on Sunday.

UPDATE (9:30 PM)-

**Jack Wofford (6-foot-3, 305 pounds) 2018 OG/C from Orlando, Florida will participate in camp tomorrow and is hoping to earn a scholarship.

“I’ve talked with Coach Salem for a while. He came down to my school to chat with me for a little bit during spring. Pitt is a dream school for me, especially because I have family in town that attends every home game. I have 15 offers currently and I’m hoping to add Pitt to it. I play guard in a triple option offense and I’ve been working on playing center also,” said Wofford.
