Henningham (6’1”, 200) is Pitt’s second commitment from a 4-star player on the day. This play-making receiver also held offers from Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Louisville, Mississippi State, Nebraska, NC State, Ohio State, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Earlier this afternoon, Pittsburgh Sports Now talked to Henningham about what led to his commitment to Pat Narduzzi’s program.

“They had everything I wanted to see,” said Henningham. “The atmosphere around Pitt, the love the coaches and staff have for their players and how they want to make sure their student athletes are prepared for everything.”

Was their something that really impressed and stood out to the Florida native?

“The Cathedral of Learning and how old the building is and how they still use the building today.”

Did today’s commitment come out of the blue or did Henningham come to this official visit with the thought of making a commitment?

“I already had it on my mind that I was going to commit to Pitt before I left and now I’m feeling great right now about everything!”

Henningham becomes the 3rd wide receiver in Pitt’s Class of 2020 and their 5th commitment from Florida (Tim Brown, Henry Parrish, Samuel Williams and Emmanuel Belgrave).

Charlie Partridge was Henningham’s chief recruiter.
