The recruiting profile for 2020 guard Femi Odukale continues to rise as new players rankings have been released.
The New England Recruiting Report released their updated player rankings Monday morning and have named Odukale the #1 senior recruit in the state of Massachusetts.
Here’s what the New England Recruiting Report is saying about Odukale.
“To say he’s brought his game to new levels since arriving at Springfield Commonwealth would be an understatement to say the least….More impressive than the growth in his recruitment though, has been the progression in his game and ability to help his team win. Formely a long and athletic wing with elite physical tools, Odukale was moved to the point this season and has flourished in that role, not just stuffing all columns of the stat sheet but also leading SCA to a big year in which they’ve played their way back among the top prep programs in the nation.”
The top 3 listed prospects in Massachusetts are: 1) Femi Odukale, Springfield Commonwealth (undecided), 2) Dallion Johnson, Phillips Academy (Penn State), 3) Justin Vander Baan, Whitinsville Christian (Boston College).
It’s a big upcoming weekend for Odukale as he’ll be making his official visit to Pitt starting this Friday. Jeff Capel is hoping to add him to Pitt’s Class of 2020 and to give the Panthers another option at point guard for the 2020-21 season.
Pittsburgh Sports Now has learned that following his official visit to Pitt, Odukale will make his next official visit to Seton Hall. That leaves him one more official visit since he’s already been to UMass and St. Bonaventure.
