Pitt’s next two men’s basketball games have been postponed, the ACC announced on Thursday, due to COVID-19 issues with Pitt’s opponents.
The Panthers had been scheduled to host No. 25 Florida State at 2 p.m. at Petersen Events Center this Saturday. That game has been postponed with no re-scheduled date at this time.
The Seminoles have had each of their last two games postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Florida State team.
Pitt’s following game had been scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 12 at Georgia Tech. That game has been pushed back to Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 8:30 p.m. It will be televised on ACC Network.
The Panthers have played just three conference games so far, with two postponements due to COVID-19 issues inside the Pitt program, making three games that Pitt needs to make up in order to get to a 20-game schedule.
Hopefully all these games get pushed back till when champagne can play
