Die-Hards: The Big Running Back That Pitt’s Been Missing?

Published

on

If you’ve watched the Pitt Panther offense over the last couple of seasons, one thing that’s been very evident is the need of a big physical running back that can pickup the tough yardage in short yard situations.

The last time that Pitt had one of those type of players in their lineup was in 2018 with Qadree Ollison, when he rushed 194 times for 1,213 yards and 11 TDs.

Not only can those big backs help out in the red-zone but they’re equally as important when the offense is trying to gain a first down on short yardage situations.

Pat Narduzzi knows his offense needs to install that element in their lineup and is recruiting a back for their Class of 2022 that fits that profile.
