81 • Aydin Henningham, sophomore outside linebacker

Last year: Played in six games on special teams after graduating early from high school and joining Pitt in January of 2020.

Stats: Playing receiver in high school, Henningham caught eight passes for 127 yards and three scores during his senior year at Deerfield Beach in Florida.

Camp outlook: Henningham joined the Panthers as a receiver, but moved to outside linebacker to fill in for injuries last season and has stayed on the defensive side on the ball.

Projected role: Whether or not Henningham will return to receiver is still up in the air, but for now he’ll be a depth piece at linebacker and likely continue his special teams role.
