Pitt wide receiver Jordan Addison was named a first-team All-American by the Football Writers Association of America.
On Friday, Addison received first-team honors on the FWAA All-American Team alongside quarterback Kenny Pickett, who was selected on the second team by the FWAA.
Along with the FWAA All-American Team, Addison was also a first-team selection on the Walter Camp All-American Team.
Addison adds another accolade to his long list of accomplishments in just his sophomore season. Addison was also the winner of this year’s Fred Biletnikoff Award and is the first Pitt wideout to do so since Larry Fitzgerald back in 2003.
He was second overall in Pitt single-season in receiving yards and in touchdowns, where he totaled 1,479 receiving yards and a nation-leading 17 touchdowns. Addison also ranks third in the country in receiving yards.
