NEW YORK — Ahead of Pitt’s game against VCU in the Legends Classic, Pitt forward John Hugley walked straight to the bench in a jump suit while the rest of the team ran out for warmups, indicating that he will be out for the Panthers.
Hugley missed the first two games of the year for Pitt after suffering a preseason knee injury. He made his season debut on Wednesday night against Michigan, scoring eight points and one rebound in 22 minutes. However, it looks as though Hugley will not play in Thursday night’s game.
The Panthers tip off against the VCU Rams at 7 p.m. on ESPN2 in the consolation round of the Legends Classic.
