Sometimes all it takes to find talent is being in the right place at the right time.
The Pitt coaching staff has been familiar with West Orange High in Winter Garden, Florida for a while, especially as the staff has watched 2024 quarterback target Trever Jackson, and that’s resulted in a big development. Two of them.

2023 offensive linemen Brody and Grayson Riffe picked up preferred walk-on offers from Pitt Thursday. The Riffe brothers, both of whom are listed at 6-foot-8, 300 pounds, have lined up to protect Jackson for a while now.
While neither Brody nor Grayson has expansive offer sheets, size is unteachable.
Dave Borbely, Pitt’s offensive line coach, was able to watch Brody and Graysen firsthand in December, checking out West Orange High while on a recruiting visit.
And after receiving their PWO offers, the Riffe brothers will be making a visit to Pittsburgh next weekend.
MaxPreps credits Brody with 23 pancake blocks (in six games) and Graysen with 17 (in eight games) as the brother bookended the line for West Orange at the tackle spots.
The Riffe brothers are blessed with a blend of size and power that most offensive linemen can only dream of possessing, and while it remains to be seen if Pitt’s interest will progress in the future, Borbely was clearly intrigued by the potential the brothers have to offer at the next level.
Pitt has picked up a PWO commitment from IMG Academy post-grad quarterback David Lynch (Bradenton, Florida), and the class of 2023 landed four offensive linemen in Ryan Carretta (Columbus Ohio), BJ Williams (Fairburn, Georgia), Tai Ray (Apopka, Florida).
These two aren’t close to 300lbs., more like 260
Not P5 players but fits the pitt recruiting road these days. Not even rated. Ouch
When are you going to admit being a troll for Franklin?
would that allow you to have a better weekend and not scream into the mirror in your band outfit? If so, I’m here to help.
Someone who consistently receives so many down votes is akin to sending a strong statement that your “help” is not wanted here. Pure board pollution.
Thanks for the clarification Giovanni. My help might not be wanted, but it certainly is needed. Don’t drink the haterade because I’m honest on the recruiting that is sh*tt football
h2p!

Man, these are 17 or 18 year old boys. They might never see a division 1 field but what’s the risk? Walk on, maybe. No scholarship. Sir, it’s very hard to name a school that has NOT had walk on success stories. Some might say that’s a reason for having colleges. You know, developing young people.
That’s the pitt way to look at it
🙂👍
These two most likely wouldn’t even see the field even if they came. We’re talking about Walk ones here
