Former Pitt wing Nate Santos has found a new home after two seasons at Pitt.

According to Joseph Tipton of On3, Santos has committed to Dayton. The 6-foot-7 wing averaged just over 1.5 points per game this past season as a sophomore, coming off the bench and appearing in 29 games.

The Geneva, Illinois native started six games in the 2021-22 season, playing almost 13 minutes per game. He struggled from outside at Pitt, shooting just 20% from three-point range.

Nate Santos will now compete with the Flyers against Duquesne, giving Pitt fans another chance to see him play when he returns to face the Dukes.

He is the second player to transfer from Pitt this offseason, as forward John Hugley transferred to Oklahoma in April after two seasons with the program.

Senior forward Blake Hinson also announced his return to Pitt at the end of May. He originally entered the upcoming NBA Draft, but chose not to sign with an agent. Hinson did work out with some NBA teams, but eventually decided to withdraw his name from the draft.
