On Saturday night, Pitt will host NC State in the final game of the 2023-24 regular season.

PITT’S OUTLOOK

The Panthers already beat the Wolfpack once this year, winning on the road in Raleigh for the second-straight year. Now, Pitt is looking to close out the season with another win in front of the home crowd.

Pitt will honor three players before the game in a Senior Night celebration: Blake Hinson, William Jeffress, and KJ Marshall.

NC STATE (17-13, 9-10 ACC)

HEAD COACH

Kevin Keatts (7th season)

LEADING SCORERS

DJ Horne – Guard – 17.2 PPG

Horne, an Arizona State transfer, is averaging 17.2 points per game this season. He is shooting it well from outside on the year, hitting 43% of his threes this season.

DJ Burns – Forward – 12.1 PPG

Burns went for 19 points and five rebounds last time out against Pitt, taking advantage of the Panthers’ smaller interior defenders.

Jayden Taylor – Guard – 11.8 PPG

Taylor, a Butler transfer, is having a strong year for the Wolfpack. However, Pitt held him to an 0-3 night the first time the two teams met. He scored zero points in that game.

Pitt-82, NCSt-77
Unless Pitt loses, their NCAA outlook, and NET, will remain relatively unchanged-still on the outside of the bubble.
