Pitt is heading into its second game of the year this Friday against Murray State.
Prior to the game, Pitt Panther forwards Cam Corhen and Guillermo Diaz Graham met with the media at the Petersen Events Center. Check out the full press conference below.
Corhen started his first game as a Panther on Monday against Radford, scoring 12 points and grabbing five rebounds in the win. He went 6 for 10 from the field.
Diaz Graham started alongside Corhen on Monday night, playing 26 minutes and going 3 for 7 from the field. He scored 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Panthers, while also dishing out two assists.
Corhen is a 6-foot-10 forward who played the past two seasons for Florida State. The Allen, Texas native started 33 games in his Seminole career, and despite a small decrease in minutes per game this past season, he increased his scoring production as a sophomore. Last year, Corhen scored 9.4 points per game on 63% from the field.
Guillermo appeared in 33 games last season, making seven starts, and he was a key rotational piece off the bench. He averaged 6.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.8 blocks per game with 49/41/60 shooting splits. His size (7-foot-0) is obvious, but his improved 3-point shooting as a sophomore unlocks versatility across the lineup.
