11 • Dane Jackson, redshirt senior cornerback
Last year: Played and started in Pitt’s final 13 games as a redshirt junior. He’s started 25 of Pitt’s last 26 games dating back to 2017.
Stats: Finished 2018 with 47 tackles, four for a loss, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 14 pass breakups.
Accolades, Highlights:
Honorable mention All-ACC. Scored a huge touchdown early in Pitt’s win over Syracuse.
Camp outlook: As a redshirt senior, Jackson will be the elder statesman and should have a leadership role in a very deep, very experienced Pitt secondary.
Projected role: Jackson will start as long as he’s healthy, and he has been. He’s missed just two games over three seasons.
