Shaw Still Considerng Pitt?

Woodland Hills RB Jo-El Shaw is currently committed to Western Michigan but could that change?

Sources tell Pittsburgh Sports Now that while Shaw is still committed to Western Michigan, he’s not totally ruled out Pitt.

In fact, Shaw was a visitor at Heinz Field on Saturday watching Pitt host Louisville.

Here are a few other things I’m being told about Shaw and Pitt:

*Shaw attended the game on Saturday because Pitt wanted to show him what they can offer

*I’m told that the Pitt coaching staff as a whole have reached out to Shaw a lot over the last month

*The hang up between Pitt and Shaw continues to be his college position. Shaw wants to be a running back while Pitt wants him on the defensive side of the ball (linebacker)

*Source tells me that Shaw could make an official visit to Pitt and that in February he’ll likely sign with Western Michigan, “but who knows a lot can happen until then.”

I’m on record as saying Shaw is one of the most under recruited kids in the WPIAL. I’m guessing this story has more chapters to it.
