Die-Hards: Pitt Coaches Call and Visit Current Florida State Commit

Published

The firing of a head coach prior to National Signing Day usually leads to uncertainty with recruits that have already given a verbal commitment.

That is certainly the case at Florida State following the firing of head coach Willie Taggert. Since the news of his dismissal, a handful of players have announced that they were re-opening their recruitment.

Following the news out of Tallahassee yesterday, PSN has learned that Pat Narduzzi was on the phone last night talking to one of Florida State’s current commitments and that player received a visit from one of Pitt’s assistants today.

This afternoon, PSN spoke to this player to get an update on his conversations with the Pitt coaches.
