Former Jeanette and Ohio State star Terrelle Pryor is reportedly now in stable condition after being stabbed in his Pittsburgh apartment last night.
Police are reporting that Pryor and his girlfriend, identified later as 24-year-old Shalaya Briston were “mutual combatants” in an incident that left Terrelle Pryor with stab wounds and in the hospital. The woman has been charged with criminal attempted homicide and aggravated assault. Pryor has been charged with simple assault.
Pryor is now in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery.
According to TMZ Sports, the incident began as an argument which turned violent over the course of the night. A second woman involved in the accident claims that Pryor knocked her to the ground.
This afternoon, WPXI’s Amy Hudak reported that a shopping cart full of guns and ammo were taken out of the apartment that Pryor shared with Briston.
TMZ is also reporting that one officer overheard one of the female witnesses say, “She was just defending herself and had to do it.” As well as “The only reason I’m here was to make sure that he didn’t die” and “We should have just let him die.”
