With High School Football National Signing Day just five days away, it appears as though it will be a stress free day for Pitt in terms of players that have already given the program their verbal commitment.

Players can start making their verbal commitments to programs official starting on Wednesday, December 18 at 7 a.m.

With Tim Brown’s legal trouble, is Pitt still taking him?

As far as we’ve been able to determine.

Wow. If they haven’t pulled the offer by now, they’re taking him unless something new comes up before signing day. This is disappointing. Pitt isn’t some sleazy win at all costs SEC program – like Mississippi – and DL certainly isn’t a position where they need to take a flyer on a kid with outstanding issues. Part of Dave’s downfall was kids with disciplinary problems. This is the best Pitt class since the one Dave compiled when the program was beginning to roll the season before he was fired. I hope the same thing doesn’t happen to Pat.
