More interest in a current Pitt 2021 commitment, but this time from the current national champions.

4-star defensive end Nahki Johnson announced Saturday night that he’s received an offer from the LSU Tigers.

LSU is making an attempt to flip Johnson less than two weeks after beating Pitt and a couple of other programs for Virginia 4-star DE/LB Naquan Brown.

Johnson was the first commitment in Pitt’s Class of 2021, as he gave a verbal to Pat Narduzzi back on June 25, 2019.

Over the last year, Johnson has told PSN about other programs trying to get him to change his mind about Pitt but he’s been very consistent about his feelings about Pitt and that he was 100% committed.

Does he feel the same way after getting an offer from LSU? PSN reached out to Johnson to ask him that question and this was his response.

“I appreciate that my hard work is being noticed nationally,” Johnson told PSN.

LSU is currently going after another highly rated WPIAL prospect, 4-star defensive tackle Elliot Donald from Central Catholic.
