The 2023 PSFCA Big 33 Game Features Big Group of WPIAL Stars

Big 33

The annual PSFCA Big 33 game has been taking place for a long time, long enough that every Super Bowl has featured at least one of the game’s alumni.

Super Bowl LVII featured four alumni, including the Kansas City Chief’s Brett Veach, Chad Henne and Frank Clark and the Philadelphia Eagles’ Miles Sanders.

The 2023 PSFCA Big 33 game will feature a collection of WPIAL stars, all of who will eventually look to continue the Big 33-to-the-Super Bowl pipeline.

Cadin Olsen (Armstrong), Adian Besselman (Upper St. Clair), Sincere Smith (Westinghouse), Jahmil Perryman (McKeesport), Kellen McDonough (Woodland Hills), Isaiah Kerns (Pine-Richland), Neco Eberhardt (Aliquippa), Racari El (Gateway), Gavin Moul (Bethel Park), Max Heckert (Pine-Richland), Cruce Brookins (Steel Valley), Dallas Harper (Gateway) and Campbell Melzer (North Allegheny) will represent the WPIAL.

Schuylkill Haven head coach Mike Farr will serve as Team PA’s head coach for the 2023 Big 33 game, with a coaching staff that includes Kevin Conlan (Abington), Chris Dworek (Saint Marys), Colin Gillen (Cedar Cliff), Tim McGorry (Allentown CC), Randy Spencer (Wyoming Area), Kevin Steele (Bedford) and Wayne Wade (Clairton).

The 2023 Big 33 game is scheduled for Sunday, May 28 at Bishop McDevitt’s Rocco Ortenzio Stadium at 7 p.m.
