Future Pitt point guard Jaland Lowe will be joining the Panthers this offseason ahead of his freshman year with the program.
Lowe recently completed a massively successful senior season at Fort Bend Marshall HS (TX), winning the Guy V Lewis Award for Houston Basketball Player of the Year.

Lowe, a 6-foot-1 point guard, is regarded as a four-star prospect by the three main recruiting services 247Sports, Rivals, and ESPN. In the recent ESPN 100 rankings, Lowe was ranked as the No. 76 player in the country. According to 247, he is slated as the No. 74 prospect in the country, and on Rivals, he is listed as the No. 109 player.
Lowe joins a back court led by redshirt freshman Dior Johnson and recent transfer commit Ishmael Leggett. Pitt also brings in new Panthers Carlton Carrington, Zack Austin, and Marlon Barnes.
