McConnell, Hopfer, Scholer Highlight Duquesne Awards Winners
For the third consecutive year, the Duquesne athletic department played host to honoring student-athletes, coaches and programs with its Dukes Awards with awards recognizing teams and individuals, some of which voted upon by the student-athletes themselves.
Once again Senior Associate Athletic Director / Student Services & Development/SWA Sherene Brantley served as the event’s host, with vice president of athletics Dave Harper opening the event by commending each team for its respective successes.
There were many individual successes to be highlighted, with perhaps the most talented and crowded list for the Female Student-Athlete of the Year to the point that there were co-winners.
The presentation also provided a bit of a break for everyone to come together before completing finals.
