Updating Pitt Football’s Unannounced Commitments

The month of June has been a productive one in terms of verbal commitments for the Pitt Panther football program.

Monday night, the ‘Pat Signal’ was revealed which signaled the 17th commitment for Pitt’s Class of 2023.

However, Pittsburgh Sports Now wants to remind everyone that despite getting 17 official pledges, only 13 of them have been announced publicly by the players.

Here’s an update on where things stand with the four unannounced commitments.

*Pittsburgh Sports Now has confirmed the commitment from last night but as is our policy, we’ll let the player announce the news himself. From what we’re hearing, this announcement will likely be delayed a bit.

*One commitment from this past weekend wasn’t revealed but it will be soon. PSN is told to expect that player to announce his commitment to Pitt sometime today.

*That takes us to the last two unannounced commitments and these are somewhat of a head scratcher. Despite making their commitments two weeks ago, these two players haven’t publicly made them official. We’re assuming nothing has changed with their decision and they have a specific reason for not publicly joining Pitt.

The heavy speculation is that the commitments could be 3-star linebacker Jordan Bass and 3-star wide receiver Lamar Seymore but at this point, it’s just speculation.

If those two players are indeed the commitments, Bass and Seymore would be two big additions for Pitt.

While everyone waits on the three silent commitments, Pitt fans will find out another name later today.

It’s all good. We can wait a few days or weeks. The future is bright. H2P !
