PITTSBURGH — On Monday night, Pitt opened the season with a lopsided win over the Radford Highlanders at the Petersen Events Center.
The Panthers looked to guards Ishmael Leggett and Jaland Lowe for scoring firepower. The two returning guards provided 19 and 21 points, respectively, and numerous highlight plays in the win.
In addition, Pitt’s newest players — Cam Corhen and Damian Dunn — contributed with 12 and 11 points. Leggett led the team in rebounds with 12.
