WATCH: Duquesne Head Coach Dru Joyce III on A-10 Tournament Loss

WASHINGTON D.C. — Duquesne made the trip down to the nation’s capital to take on St. Bonaventure in the second round of the A-10 Tournament but collapsed in the second half as the Bonnies made a 13-point comeback. This loss ended the Dukes season and in turn ended the first year under head coach Dru Joyce III.

The Dukes held a nine-point lead at halftime, a 13-point lead with 13 minutes left and a 10-point lead with eight minutes left but failed to score a field goal in the last 4:16 of regulation which allowed the Bonnies to storm back and claim the victory at the Capital One Center.

Joyce spoke about the loss to the Bonnies, how proud he is of his team staying together this year and more after the second-round defeat on Thursday afternoon.
