Die-Hards: Observations From Pitt Football Camp

Published

on

We’re wrapping up our first full week of Pitt camp and are just 23 days from the season opener vs. Albany.

Because players have only practiced in pads for two days and due to the limited window the media is permitted to view live practice, it’s somewhat difficult to get a true gauge of what’s happening.

So it’s not easy to know who’s standing out and making a case to be on the two-deep depth chart. However, we do hear things from people associated with the team and also take notice when a player is mentioned multiple times by Pat Narduzzi or his position coach.

With that in mind, here’s some of my observations from attending the early portion of Pitt camp.
