Pitt Football Issues Handful of Offers To Young Talent in Virginia

Published

on

Thanks to a bye week in their schedule, the Pitt football coaching staff will be able to use this off week to travel the country and recruit.

It’s not surprise that one of the areas that the Pitt staff is already in is the talent rich state of Virginia, which has been a hot bed for them over the last two recruiting seasons. Virginia became a priority recruiting for Pitt with the hiring of former wide receivers coach Chris Beatty and has continued with Brennan Marion.

On Monday, we told you about offers that were extended to 2024 defensive back Milton Ferguson, 2024 wide receiver Tasean Young-Stieff and 2024 athlete Tyler Baker, who are all from Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The offers from Marion continued Tuesday morning, as he made his way to Life Christian Academy in Chester, Virginia. This is an interesting group because for some it was their first D-1 offer and one offer went out to an 8th grader.

Here is the list of players from Virginia that picked up offers on Tuesday from Pitt:

*Kesean Henderson (Hopewell HS, Hopewell, Virginia): Class of 2024, 4-star Athlete. 6’0″, 180 lb. Offers from Maryland, Virginia and Virginia Tech.

*Kamari Loving (Life Christian Academy): Class of 2025, 6’0′, 215 lb. athlete.  First D-1 offer.

*Kel Dabney (Life Christian Academy): Class of 2026 (8th grade), 6’0″ running back/linebacker.  First D-1 offer.
