Thomasson is a 6-foot-3, 195-pound graduate transfer guard who averaged 19.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game this season. He has one year of eligibility remaining, as he is a graduate transfer. Thomasson shot 38% from three-point range this season, hitting 54 of his 140 attempts from downtown.
Thomasson’s stellar season earned him First Team All MAAC honors this past season. The left-handed graduate transfer is originally from Houston, Texas. He began his collegiate career at Houston Christian, before going to Butler Community College in Kansas. He then spent the past two years at Niagara.
Thomasson has already visited Georgia and San Francisco, and has visits scheduled to St. John’s, Penn State, and Pitt over the next few weeks.
Pitt has hosted Zack Austin (High Point) and Ishmael Leggett (Rhode Island) on official visits so far this spring, and both have committed to the Panthers shortly after.
